A watch is meant to be worn — and a watch that is worn needs care. Alongside our dial work, our watchmakers service and restore complete timepieces, from routine maintenance to the full revival of a neglected movement.
Why service matters
A mechanical watch is a small machine of hundreds of moving parts, running day and night. Over time the lubricants that protect it dry and break down, and microscopic wear accumulates. Most watchmakers recommend a full service every five to seven years to keep a movement accurate and to prevent small problems from becoming costly ones. A watch running "well enough" may already be running dry.
Vintage watches deserve qualified hands
Older pieces ask for more than a standard service. Correct parts are scarce, finishes are delicate, and a single over-polished case or incorrect component can erase both character and value. We treat every older watch as the historical object it is — sourcing period-correct parts where we can, preserving originality wherever possible, and restoring only what genuinely needs it.
What we do
- Full servicing — complete disassembly, cleaning, fresh lubrication, and regulation to tolerance.
- Movement restoration — worn parts, mainsprings, and jewels repaired or replaced to bring a tired movement back to life.
- Case, crystal & hardware — cases, crystals, crowns, and hands restored or replaced with respect for the original design.
- Dial restoration — the work we're known for, integrated into a complete, considered restoration.
Whether it's a daily companion due for service or an heirloom that's sat quiet for decades, tell us about your watch and we'll reply with next steps and a tailored estimate.
